According to a study by Scientific American, traces of cocaine can be found in about 90% of US currency. This strikes me as very odd because – aren’t we in a recession? Isn’t that shit expensive? People are just plain dumb.
The study goes on to say that Americans are not the only people snorting up. 80% of Brazilian bills and 85% of Canadian bills also bore traces of the drug.
But here is the kicker. Guess which city has the highest rates of contamination? Would it be New York, LA, Miami? Since both of those cities are famous for their raunchy (and at times drug fueled) parties. Nope. The winner, according to Scientific American, with an over 95% contamination rate:
