I absolutely love places like Suzie Wong - they take a theme and just absolutely run with it. The decor is absolutely amazing, inspired by Chinese styling, lots of red and Chinese characters there. The seating is comfortable, the crowd is always lively, the music is deeply varied (yes, Chinese pop and American hip hop can actually flow well into each other), and the drinks are really distinct - it's the only nightspot in NYC that I've seen offer Sake. The seating and space is MUCH more limited than the megaclubs like Mansion and Marquee down the street, but this intimate setting will allow you to get much closer to the celebs that hang out there:-)
