Gay Avatar dance parties – the new rage?

In what might be my coolest headline ever, two gay clubs in Florida (Living Room in Fort Lauderdale and DiscoTekka in Miami), have both thrown Avatar themed parties, Miami Times reports, where scantily clad dudes and dudes were replaced were scantily clad blue dudes and dudes.

According to the article:

The Fort Lauderdale club went for the full Cameron Friday night. Christian Leonard, the club’s publicist, says it took ten people, eight hours to fully transform the already Amazon-like space into something resembling Pandora. They painted the floor with fluorescent colors, and covered the ceiling with weedy netting to resemble a canopy. The typically scantily clad bartenders were scantily clad again, only bluer. Drag queens Na’vi-ly accessorized with head-dresses and day-glow makeup. The club even hired a face-painter to bedazzle the gays, gratis.

We now ask my gay friends for commentary:

“Yeah…. we just really need an excuse to dress up”

“Bears will feel out of place there as there are no fat hairy Na’Vi”

“This is fucking stupid”

So how would one go about finding out about such parties? Maybe you were one of the lucky ones to get a flier.

The party seems to have paid off, as the owners of both establishments said that over 4 000 people visited the clubs.

To be honest, I am personally hoping that there is a straight version of this in the NYC area soon, because I am all about tall skinny scantily clad girls painting themselves.

Michael Bay and 50 Cent – sharing is caring

And who says celebrities are bad people. Sometimes they share with each other. Although I don’t know if sharing people counts as sharing. But anyway, here we have Michael Bay and 50 Cent enjoying the company of some ladies at LIV in Miami.

Now, 50 Cent and Michael Bay, that is an unlikely duo (unless of course you remember 50 Cent’s video game, which basically had him blow up half of the middle east – which is about the plot of every other  Bay movie ). A possible future collaboration? Who knows, but the girls are relishing the opportunity of this unlikely teamup, especially the one with the fake knockers and green hair streak.

And now to brighten up your day – a drunk passed out oompa loompa

The day started gloomy – I slept through my alarm clock, the train to work was crowded, the AC wasn’t working properly, and the coffee machine at my office was broken. But somehow, looking at this picture of a passed out Oompa Loompa makes it all better:-)

Thanks to my awesome readers for sending this in. The story behind it is that there’s a little person show called Beacher’s Madhouse that was performing at LIV Nightclub in Miami, and one of the Oompa Loompas got a little too crunk. Thankfully, there was a bellhop nearby.

You know what… I’ll do a google image search and see if there is anything else awesome out there that’s Oompa Loompa related…… Oh wait, there’s more!

Lil Kim celebrates her birthday at Mansion in Miami

This is Lil Kim, she is now 34 years old. I wonder, when is it too old to be looking like this? Although I answered my own question a few days ago since I showed that awesome pic of James Caan looking simply awesome at 69. Although, granted, Lil Kim isn’t the name we usually associate with the term “old Hollywood class”

In any case Lil Kim, along with Trina, Fat Joe and Chad Ochocinco (yes, he legally changed his name, that’s amazing), were partying at Mansion in Miami to celebrate Kim’s birthday. Enjoy the video

  • What happens when a crazy Hollywood wow and a perma-high starlet try to get a 15 year old in a club? Hilarity ensues of course. Word has it that Dina and Lindsay Lohan were denied entry to the Hollywood hotspot Villa because of Ali Lohan’s age. Fair enough, 15 year olds shouldn’t be in clubs. Now try telling that to people who think the rules don’t apply to them lol. An angry Lindsay was overheard screaming “You’re making a huge mistake, HUGE”. Yes Lindsay, laws are mistakes. (SOURCE)
  • Meghan Fox has been spotted at Chateau Marmont in LA. This place has been popping up over and over and seems to be one of the go-to places in LA (SOURCE)

  • A bunch of people from Dancing with the Stars were partying at One Sunset in LA. I don’t care much for the show, but a LOT of people do. Besides, professional dancers are all in phenomenal shape, so will there be some gentlemen willing to try their luck there next week? (SOURCE)

  • For our British viewers, we have news! Socialite Peaches Geldof was spotted leaving London’s Bungalow 8 Monday night. … I don’t really know anything about her but I’ll leave it at that. (SOURCE)

ShamWow guy to hooker – You’re gonna love my nuts

shamwow2I was looking for a reason to run this picture, and then I realized – Vince, the ShamWow guy – met this girl at a club (Luigi’s in Miami, according to the police report), so that make it totally viable for my site!.

Here’s Vince how we remember him:

So, according to the police report, obtained by The Smoking Gun, Vince met this young lady at a club, they got back to his hotel, money was offered up and exchanged, and then when they kissed – she wouldn’t  let go of his lip, so he hit her untill he was free, then ran downstairs to call the cops.
