Beyonce cancels club gig at M2 tomorrow. Owner threatens lawsuit.

This just in – Beyonce canceled a concert at New York’s M2 nightclub tomorrow, and the M2 people are fuming mad. The M2 people agreed to pay Beyonce $200 000 dollars for the concert and have already spent a LOT of money on the show – around $100 000 to be exact.

How hyped was this concert? When I was at M2 last week I saw the posters for it everywhere, and apparently they were selling table seats for thousands of dollars for the concerts. Promoters who are usually tasked with filling up these clubs  were given the night off since the demand for Beyonce tickets was so overwhelming.

Now, according to the New York Post, the owner of M2 is threatening Beyonce with a multi million dollar lawsuit. Why?

  1. Beyonce’s people have made no agreements on another date. At all
  2. Beyonce, as a condolence, offered to “hang out for an hour” at the club. I’m sorry but there better be oral sex on top of a volcano involved for that kind of money

No information on Beyonce’s web site is available, but if you ask me this is the type of stuff singers do before they get admitted to the hospital for “exhaustion”.

I’m sorry Beyonce, you can make all the sexual advances you want towards me, but its not worth $200 000.

What really sucks is that my promoter friends lost money because of this. I’ll but them some beers tomorrow:-)

Memorial Weekend In London

While the rest of us were eating delicious hot dogs, some American celebs were out in London this weekend. Unpatriotic or am I just an asshole?. BTW I really fucking love hot dogs.

  • Beyonce And Jay-Z were spotted in London going from club to club to club. While not a traditional way to spend Memorial Day weekend, I’m guessing the people at Bungalow 8, Movida and Fifty Casino didn’t care too much about that. Thanks for an English reader for the submission and we will get more pics from there soon!.
  • Paris Hilton was also spotted in London at club Volstead, which is located on Swallow St…… touche London, touche (SOURCE)

March 17 – Club Media Blitz

Hi everyone, I’m back from my friends beautiful wedding in Tampa, and, as entrepreneurial minded as I am, i just HAD to promote my site to everyone I met, so I expect a surge of visitors from the Florida area. Plus, my friend and I bumped into one of our favorite MADTV cast members – Aries Spears, I’ll post that pic up as soon as my friend sends it to me.

So here’s whats been up, as reported by our favorite media outlets.

March 15

  • Rihanna, Jay-Z and Beyonce were spotted at the Spotted Pig in NYC, no pun intended, celebrating a belated 21st birthday for Rihanna. Chris Brown was nowhere to be seen, probably shitting himself at the sight of Jay-Z’s ninja entourage. Both times I was at the Spotted Pig, the place was way too crowded to move, and when I went outside to catch a cab – it started raining. I wonder if their arrival meant some sort of crowd dispersal and sudden weather change. (Source)

  • Whitney Port from “The City” and all those other shows that girls love to watch, hosted her sisters bachlorette party at Tao Nightclub in Vegas this past Friday (see event flier above). And here I go thinking that her only activity was deciding if she wants to hang out with the well groomed socialites that live in uptown NYC or the scruffy facial haired, guitar carrying “artistic bad boys” from downtown. I think the City needs an episode where she goes to a bad neighborhood, I’d watch it:-) (Source )
  • Lindsey Lohan and Samantha Ronson were seen in two different places in LA – Bar Deluxe (where Ronson was DJing) and Villa Lounge for a little after party. It’s pretty much a given that if you wanna see Lindsey Lohan and re-introduce her to the wonders of dudes, you just look up Samantha Ronson’s performance schedule. Myspace anyone?  (Source)
